This collection was inspired by Nordic architecture, especially the work of the Finn Aalvar Alto.
Here one plays with contrasts. Primitive simplicity versus extreme sophistication. Rough virility versus sensual femininity. Wools and handicraft knitwear versus silks and sequins.
There is a use of rich textures, multiple rhythms and variations of materials. This is the beginning of Alto´s collage. Handcrafted patchwork knitwear
is made whilst changing materials; rustic wools, wools with mohair, ribbons. There is a use of irregular pleats, virgin woollen cloth, metallic sequins, diffused printed fabrics, silks, woollen tissues with fur and metallic embroidering.
Clarity of forms. Elegant Proportions. Diagonal compositions.
Asymmetries.
Little ornamentation.
Soft lines, which are diffused and wavy. There are also pleats, drapes, undulated structures which provide volume to the collection.
Rounded edges with soft and warm materials.
Large volumes. Handicraft knitwear work with the creation of large located volumes.
Steel grey, black, night blue, naked colours.
