COLLECTION WAY TO THE EAST)
The orient is the final destination through which the collection is developed for the autumn and winter of 2010-11, with a desire to emphasise the naturalness of people in its most harmonious sense, and to highlight a very particular and emotional sentimental quality.
Stemming from that admiration, the eastern and western feel are mixed, with the intention of achieving enrichment, which leads to blended mixes and takes it to extremes of daily life and proximity.
The different eastern garments give a suggestion of the tissues and printed fabrics used, which are reflected in silks and brocades and mixed with heavy crepes and light gauzes, and here the contradiction of creating really contrasting silhouettes is to be found. On one hand they are rigid but, on the other, the silhouettes are languid and delicate. Or they express the soft movements of oriental women who are so feminine, so traditional, with great elegance in their movement, sweetness in their gestures and the respect associated with knowing what to be like.
Colours: The colouring has grey and grape colours as its base. On this base printed fabrics are developed which lead to orange colours, water greens, turquoises and stone colours.
The feminine silhouettes are stuck very close to the body and have special details.
