This is inspired by all those fascinating women who transmit their personal character through their aesthetics, thus standing out in all walks of life, whether it be at work, socially….. and they have patented their own lifestyle in this way. Every woman is unique, authentic, oozing with natural glamour but, at the same time, is never carefree, in fact totally the contrary, she studies each and every detail meticulously...thus each piece in her wardrobe has a meaning, a timeless stamp that goes way beyond trends and fashions...
I can mention some of those women: Diana Vreeland (fashion editor), Maruja Mallo (artist), Elsa Schiaparelli (designer), Lee Miller (model and photographer), Leonora Carrington (painter), Paloma Picasso, Sophie Calle, Nancy Cunard, Anais Nin, Louise Nevelson... unique women, just like each LOOK, unique!
It is a collection based on the reinterpretation of those classics from the world of dressmaking, but updated, in which subtle investigation through patterning and the making of the garment predominate. In this way, the styling, which is full of contrasts between the male and female garments, really comes to the fore in this collection. The colour and the non-colour (i.e. black and the neutral colours) fuse together in one single form of styling.
The collection is infested with garments for the real woman, as the MUSAS of this collection are like that.
The collection begins with garments for daytime, moving on to cocktail garments and night time...
As regards the tissues, wool, silk, cotton and alpaca stand out particularly.
The shapes are close to the body, caressing the silhouette.
The colours that predominate are natural, tanned, chocolate, greens, greys, pinks and blacks.
