COLLECTION Union Jack
Double-decker buses, Big Ben, the fog, driving on the left-hand side of the road with the steering wheel on the right, grey skies, cucumber sandwiches, fish and chips, the kitsch of a souvenir from Diane Spencer and Prince Charles' wedding, five o'clock tea, the red telephone boxes, yellow car number plates, the long lives of
East Enders and Coronation Street, Irish tartan, the BBC, London's avant-garde, Miss Marple, the countryside, the Scottish kilt, Sherlock Holmes' cape and pipe...
Structure
With the classic “T line” dress of the house as a referent, a collection is structured around this very silhouette. This is a silhouette which has large shoulders which are being stretched more and more as they approach the floor and which are transformed by means of the patterning of its collars and its necklines.
For day time: short dresses, drainpipe trousers, tailored suits, caped coats, tailored coats, three-quarter length coats….
For night time: cocktail dresses and long dresses in satin crepe.
Colour
Setting out from the colouring of the United Kingdom flag, the blue, red and white Union Jack, a range of colour is developed in which the grey of the London sky combines with black together with bright colours on printed fabric for night time.
Tissues
Flannel is used as the base of the collection, combined with Prince of Wales in mohair, wool and cool wool versions.
Scottish tartan, with micro crow´s feet and wool with rivets.
