In 1942, Peggy Guggenheim founded «Art of this century», an art gallery and museum in which she presented the work of European and North American avant-garde artists and promoted the work of abstract expressionists who were completely unknown at that time.  In this art gallery the first individual exhibitions of artists such as Jackson Pollock or Mark Rothko (who broke away from everything that had gone before with their plastic offerings) were celebrated.

Although the placid minimalism of Rotko contrasts with the dynamism and violence in the strokes of Pollock’s gestural painting, the chromatism in their paintings unites them: whites, blacks and primary colours, as well as free and subjective expression of the subconscious.

I also wish to express my admiration for another figure of abstract informal style: The Catalan Tapies, who understands art as force for change, compression and self-reflection.

I would like to pay my respects to this entire world by presenting a young and fresh collection that is multi-coloured and independent combining very different materials and concepts achieving a surprising result.

In this collection the most daring knitwear of printed fabric t-shirts is mixed with the most refined cotton of “nerved” shirts.  There are unstructured and colourist denims with silk trousers which have insertions of different materials.  Bags, shoes with lining, sunglasses and “graduadas” (adjustable) accessories complete the total look of this collection.
