COLLECTION: DOMESTIC MAN
AUTUMN-WINTER 08-09

Concept: “Domestic men” is a masculine street-wear collection.  It was born with the objective of taking over the domestic aspect.

Building new models of masculinity, based on the freedom and equality of the sexes, to strengthen awareness and social evolution of the masculine-feminine representations in domestic space. 

It is a series of designs made for middle-class men which are alternative, fun, independent, daring and lively.

They are males who take on everyday tasks such as washing up, ironing, sweeping, etc., as basic necessities of the individual which are generated through living with others and not as an issue exclusively linked to sex.

Chromatic range: The collection is entirely made in black.  The different constructions offer us diverse tones of colour. 

This absence of colour will provide us with a better vision of the shapes and textures of the garments.

The complements that are elaborated in pink will play a main role in offering a touch of colour to the collection. 

Forms: This is a matter of a proposal based on the link of straight lines and curves in its fabrications. Asymmetrical garments which intertwine with others of large volumes. Padded tissues that are elaborated by a succession of horizontal lines that are joined with others that weave a grid of squares.
