This experience goes all the way back to and even before the existence of the present-day elastic tissues, when the founder Dolores Cortés started the handicraft fabrication of the first swimsuits in the decade of the 50’s.

Picking up this tradition again in the 80’s, her daughter Dolores Font Cortés is incorporated into the management of design, taking charge of the whole creation process of the swimsuit collections, which she produces in her own workshop and has adopted the denomination “Dolores Cortés” as a trademark of these designs, as a tribute to the initiator. 

The Dolores Cortés creations are not only distributed in the national market but also abroad and are present in over fifteen countries. 

• She began her experience in the individual style parades at the Carmen Fashion Parade in its first edition in 1999.  From the year 2001 her swimsuit collection is paraded at the Gaudí Fashion Parade of designers from Barcelona.

• In 2003 the 50th anniversary of the preparation of the first swimsuit by the initiator Dolores Cortés is celebrated, who in this year received numerous tributes and awards among which the following stand out:
  • Medal of Merit in the Work of her category of gold presented by His Majesty the
    King at the request of the Board of Ministers
    
  • Award of the Woman Worker from the Valencian Courts
    
  • Nova Award 2003 for the Entrepreneurial Woman of the year.
