>PHILOSOPHY
The collection was inspired by the freshness of the angels of the Cathedral of Valencia, recently discovered.
There are hidden angels, renaissance angels, spectacular angels with immense eyes that look out from a starry sky of infinite blue.
SEND ME AN ANGEL is inspired by the freshness of the renaissance angels reflected in the mentioned paintings. They are eternal celestial symbols that are evocative and magic by definition.
Carlos Haro presents a collection based on the exuberance and the enchantment of the angels. Glamour, luxury and sophistication for a very feminine and, of course, divine woman.
The angels exist. They have been waiting for us for 500 years behind the dome of the Cathedral of Valencia.
>LINE
Divine cocktail. Dresses that are in a tubular form down to the knees and finished off with techniques to give prominence such as drapes, flaky surfaces or embroideries. There are also glassy applications and an symphony of transparencies in the lower parts.
There is also a Tailored Jacket of the neobaroque style due to the use of brocades of Valencian elaboration. The most beautiful style of finishes are applied to collars, cuffs and skirts in the way of an angel’s wings. The hyper-feminine line has tailored waists, low-cut neck lines and tube skirts.
Pleated dresses: The “soleil” (sun) pleating comes about through a soft silhouette that has amplitude of movement in the skirts of the dress. The garments are covered by metallic effects in the way of golden or silver bread.
High class celestial dressmaking. More glamorous or typical of the designer’s style are the corseted dresses low at the waist and voluminous skirts adorned with folds, flaky surfaces or embroidered feathers. They are finished off with gold or silverwork, costume jewellery and Swarovski’s glassy effect.
Tissues: satin crepe, shantung, tissue, brocades and transparencies of gauzes, organza and tulle.
Colour: The mysticism of gold and silver are in contrast with sky blue, mauve, okra, pale pink, petroleum and ivory.
